What is Circular Economy
It is a method of economic development that benefits businesses, society and the environment. It was created with the goal of being restorative or regenerative.

The Philippine Government has solidified its efforts to enforce proper management of solid waste at the barangay level through the passage of Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
Through proper segregation and collection of solid waste in every barangay, we can ensure the protection of public health and the environment.
How to Segregate?
- Keep separate containers for WET and DRY waste.
- Keep plastic wastes washed clean with food substances rinsed off.
- Send wet waste out of daily.
- Use paper bags to store and throw sanitary waste.

Want to get more EP’s!
- Clean your plastic recyclables in order to earn more Environmental Points (EP)!
- Plastic bottles must be washed clean with caps and labels removed.
- Make sure to remove dirt and food residues.
- Remove plastic labels and place these in a separate plastic bag.

Step 2 - Exchange
- Segregate at source
- Bring your recyclables at the Trash to CashBack Center
- The recyclables will be counted and weighed
- Open your bXTRA Account via bXTRA.com.ph/en/signup (register using a physical card or email address)
- Environmental Points (EP) will be transferred to your bXTRA Account.
- Environmental Points are converted to bXTRA CashBack
- CashBack can be used to redeem grocery items online or used to redeem products / services at any bXTRA partner outlet.
- My Basurero will collect the recyclables
- The Recyclables will be delivered to our partner upcycler / recycling company where these recyclables will get a 2nd life
